  After finishing my BA at Concordia University in Montreal I took off to London, England for 2 years and finally settled in Barcelona, Spain. 

   My interest in energy work began when I started seeing an acupunturist for an asthma problem in the early 90's. I thought about studying TCM then, but it took me about another 20 years to actually do it. I met Michelle Nielsen, a very prominent chiropractor in Barcelona who served as a stepping stone towards my personal healing voyage and subsequent decision to change fields. I still remember the day when the secretary at Michelle's practice said she was going to study kinesiology and it just popped out of my mouth without thinking, that I would join her on the course. This was my real introduction to all different types of energy healing possibilities. I was the only person on the course without any knowledge of other therapies, but it whetted my appetite for wanting to learn more. I went on to study Bach Flowers, Reiki, Hands on Healing for Animals, Psych-K, Homeopathy, Acupuncture and Nutrition according to TCM.

   My beautiful horse, Vittorino, and my cats Nushka and Jazz, seemed to be pushing me to start using all my knowledge of holistic therapies to help them. When I got Vittorino he was a distant character and suffering from a chronic lameness. After about a year he came down with babesia and ended up in the hospital for 10 days. The allopathic treatment at the time was yearly doses of chemotherapy for three years. I didn't have control over what they gave him in the hospital, but when it came around for the second dose I decided not continue the treatment and to start treating him myself through kinesiology. This decision was taken even after having seen that his blood panel was worse than it had been at the beginning of the illness. But it is a disease where quite often the treatment is more harmful than the actual effects of the disease. There are two types of Babesia, one which does go away and another more severe version that apparently always stays with the horse. Vittorino had the worst one. In all honesty I can't say how long it took for the disease to be eliminated from his system, but 18 months later there was no trace of it anymore. During this time period I treated him every 2-3 weeks with kinesiology, sometimes I gave him Bach Flowers, other times, trace elements or tissue salts, whatever came out in the kinesiology session is what I would do. He isn't only free of Babesia, but he is also no longer that cold, distant fellow he was at the beginning and his lameness is less noticeable.

     My cat Jazz is a different story, I needed to help him make the transition for this life to the next. This was a traumatic experience all around for everybody and basically needed homeopathy and Bach Flowers to help him decide to transition. Both of which were chosen by using kinesiology testing.

     In January 2010, I sold my Bagel Shop business in order to dedicate 100% of my energy to holistic therapies.
